An Islamic Comment on a Reverend’s
Crime against Quran (Koran)

“Read” was the first word that was revealed from
God to His Last messenger: “Mohamed”. The “God’s Order” was: “Read” not “Burn”. Quran’s revelation starts by this order: “Read.”
All Muslims in the world are faithfully and wisely fulfilling this order
at least five times every day. However, they “Read” Quran and “Read” the signs of God in the universe in every
moment. This Book is the Mercy of God that enlightens and Guides their life.

Surely this Quran guides (to a life)
which is most upright (the straightest or the most stable),
As a miraculous piece of Heavenly source that was revealed in the dawn
of human’s civilization, it yields not only aesthetic contentment but provides
also the whole philosophic and scientific truth. It is a valuable tool to the
lexicographer seeking to the scientist probing for clues concerning the
existence of God, to a man seeking the evidence of the Day of Resurrection, to
understanding the logic of human’s life, the constitution of good and
evil, love and hate, happiness and
misery, success and failure, mercy and
cruelty, peace and war and all the life’s concepts as ordained by God for the
whole mankind, and to the theologian who regards the Quran as the ultimate
unchallengeable recourse for all religious knowledge.
Most of the verses of
Quran have scientific logic and are based on modern scientific knowledge. No
contradictions or conflicts have been found between Quran and modern sciences.
There are many verses that newly interpreted according to discoveries of modern
sciences. As examples it is possible to
read the start of creation[21.30], the spherical shape of the earth [39:5], the
stages of embryo growth in the womb [39:12-16], expansion of the universe [51:47], Big Bang [21:30] and Big Crunch [21:104] theories, the balanced
cycles of the elements on the earth [15-19], the photosynthesis processes in
the plants [36:80], the formation of clouds [24:43], the water as the liquid of
life[21.31], the water cycle[9:35], and the wind functions[30:48, 15:22], and
many others as can be seen in [www.harunyahya.com]. Similarly, there are
several verses in the Quran which some geographers [30:3], historicists
[28:38], geologists [35:27, 78:7], astronomers [6:97, 25:61] and psychologists
[13:28] have interpreted as being compatible also with their modern
discoveries.
Accordingly, Quran had initiated the Islamic
Golden Age. The Golden Age of Islam characterizes a period in world
history and human development. This period was guided by the faithful reading
and understanding of Quran and it is traditionally dated from the mid-8th
century to the mid-16th century just after the end of Mohammad’s mission. During
this period Muslim scientists, artists, engineers, scholars, poets,
philosophers, geographers and traders in the Islamic
world “Read” and
performed according to the spirit of Quran in their contribution to science, agriculture, economics, industry, law, literature, navigation, philosophy, sociology, and technology. Muslims founded new branches of sciences as
Chemistry, Algebra, Light, Algorithms, Pharmacology, etc. Scientists as
Fielding H. Garrison wrote in the History of Science: Arabs were the originators not only of algebra, chemistry, and geology, but of many of the so-called improvements
or refinements of civilization, such as street
lamps, window-panes, firework, stringed
instruments, cultivated
fruits, perfumes, spices, etc.

Muslims added also glorified inventions and
innovations in different branches of science as Navigation, technology,
industry, economics, etc. Howard R. Turner wrote: "Muslim artists and
scientists, princes and laborers together made a unique culture that has

True Muslims “Read” faithfully this Book as it represents the main core of their life. We can believe
that this Book has indefinite influence in formatting their ideologies in a
heavenly fear of God, loving of humanity, submitting to values, defending of
concepts and a general feeling of satisfaction and happiness. The Arabic
word “Islam” means complete submission to the will and guidance of God.
Islam is not a new religion. It is in essence, the same uncorrupted message and
guidance that Allah revealed to all preceding prophets as Abram, Moses and
Jesus.
003.083 Say, we believe in Allah and that ( messages
) which has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the
tribes and that ( words ) which were given to Moses and Jesus and to other
prophets (to Muhammad; the Koran), from their Lord. We make no distinction
between any of them, and to Him (Allah) we submit (as Muslims).
The Quran was
revealed to Muhammad piecemeal over a span of twenty three years through
Mohammed’s mission. No difference is found in the rhythm, the smartness, the
logic, the views, the objectives, the trends and the expressions of the verses
of the Koran whether they were at the start or at the end of his mission. You
cannot find whether these verses were at the start of his mission when Mohammed
was alone as a forty years old man fearing the duties of such new religion or
they were at the end of Mohammed’s life when he was at the top of an Islamic
state as a man of sixty three years old.
The main fault of the West is
considering the Quran is similar to the New Testament. According to the
conclusions of “Jesus Seminar” held in Westar Institute, USA (http://religion.rutgers.edu/jseminar), by a group of academic theologians who studied Christian writings from the 1st to
3rd century CE, from a religiously liberal perspective. They found
that the Canonical Gospels have unknown origin and they were

Oppositely, Muslims keep by heart the whole Quran since Mohammed’s
mission up to now. No corruptions have touched the Quran since its revelation
to Mohammad as Islam was born strong in the full light of history and its
strength had never been ceased or decayed in any time. The language of Quran,
the Arabic language, is still spoken by more than 500 millions as was spoken
since more than 14 centuries in Mohammad’s times. More than 1500 millions still
adhere to the religion of Islam and recite it five times every day during their
prayers. Thousands of new followers enter Islam every day. The logical
sequencing and reasoning of each verse in Quran and its heavenly fashion that
could not be attained by any Human represents the spirit that attracts new
followers to Islam. Similarly, looking to Islam with
a broad mind, unaffected by any illusion, we will undoubtedly find that the
Islam is a simple religion in its concepts, beliefs, books, messages and
worship that suits the pure and logic nature of civilized human beings without
any need to such illogical dogmas of Great Sin, Sacrifice, Idols as Crosses,
God’s son, Trinity, Holy family. It is PURE ONENESS of God and Submission to
His Orders.
So, those who accused Islam to be
of the devil are mad. They haven’t a mind to “Read” “The Story of Civilization” as

If they have a mind to “Read” this Part, they will discover their pure madness in darkening the
scientific history of civilization.
Those who accused Quran to be the source of terrorism in the world are
ignorant. They cannot “Read” the statistics of terrorism in the world. A study completed by Duke University and the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill said, “The terrorist threat posed
by radicalized Muslim-Americans has been exaggerated. But the point here is, Muslims are being targeted unfairly for terrorism in USA
when Islamic extremists carried out only 6 percent of the attacks. The
remaining 94% were from other groups (42% from Latinos, 24% from extreme left
wing groups, 7% from extremist Jews, 5% from communists, and 16% from all other

Similarly, a whopping 99.6% of terrorist
attacks in Europe were by non-Muslim groups; a good 84.8% of attacks were from
separatist groups completely unrelated to Islam. Leftist groups accounted
for over sixteen times as much terrorism as radical Islamic groups. Only
a measly 0.4% of terrorist attacks from 2007 to 2009 could be attributed to

Those who accused Quran to be the
source of motivating alleged nineteen on-board Muslim hijackers to hit the two
towers of USA in 11/9 are blind. They cannot “Read” the analysis of such USA-PLAY that made foul
of the whole world to attack ISLAMIC countries as Afghanistan and Iraq. Is it
possible for nineteen on-board Muslim hijackers (acting with military
coordination and precision) overpowered the flight attendants (with nothing
more than box-cutters and shouted commands), forced their way into the cabin
(were all eight official pilots absorbed in contemplation of the clouds?),
overpowered the pilots (apparently none of them, some ex-military, could offer
any resistance to hijackers armed only with box-cutters), took command of the
planes, having acquired the necessary flying skills from training courses and
flight manuals, flew them expertly to their targets (good navigators, those
Arabs; and flying with the skill of a trained military pilot in the case of the
jet which, allegedly, hit the Pentagon), met absolutely no opposition from the
U.S. authorities (including the U.S. Air Force) responsible for safeguarding
America's airspace (despite the fact that the Pentagon jet was in the air for
nearly an hour after the first impact), hit those targets and killed
themselves? Of course, anyone who would believe this story (after thinking

Those who like Muslims not to “Read” the Holy Quran and follow the

And thus have We inspired in thee (Muhammad) a Spirit of Our command. Thou you knewest
not what the Scripture was? , nor what is the Faith. But We
have made it a light whereby We guide whom We will of Our bondmen. And lo! thou verily dost guide unto a right path,
So, such
ignorant, blind, mad reverend will be Judged for His
Crime of Murder against a spirit from God. However, this punishment will be a
God’s punishment as He warned those disbelievers in many verses in Quran. The
whole world will see very soon “God’s PUNISHMENT” on the earth and in The Day
of Resurrection.
